Squad Seven

Extreme Jungle Mission is a novel game for 2-4 players. The setting revolves around a missing cargo plane that was loaded with Incan art and treasures. Each player leads a squad of seven, who are dropped by helicopter into the Amazonian jungle and then need to retrieve as much treasure as possible.

There is no board with the game. Instead you are supplied with a collection of cards, a soundtrack CD and a plastic dart-gun. It's then a question of playing, matching and reacting to the cards, depending on the current jungle noises being emitted by the CD. (Actions for specific cards vary depending on whether the CD is playing day or night noises.) Certain cards provoke a bit of target practice with the gun and the aim is to keep your squad alive and capture the treasures.

The game's duration is limited, as on the CD a helicopter drops you off and then later picks you up, if you have survived. This leads to plenty of anarchic card-playing as time is of the essence.
